Daily Doodles: Cargo Pilot

Song of the Day: Spanish Flea by Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass

Musical Pipe Dream: I’m sitting in front of a small four piece drum kit. My shoulders are slightly hunched and I have a showman’s smile on my face. I’m keeping time and looking at the band leader for instructions.

Blurb 1/365: Two more dailies, and I’ll have drawn 365 drawings and done close to 365 songs of the day, musical pipe dreams, and blurbs. I’m planning on continuing to draw, but not everyday. I’ll probably slow it down to a comic strip once a week or every two weeks. I just have to put my mind to it.

Daily Doodle: Twistin’ the Night Away

Song of the Day: Twistin’ the Night Away by Sam Cooke

Musical Pipe Dream: I’m playing the saxophone. My outfit is a fitted blue pencil skirt that ends at my knees, white crew socks, and a white sweater. My hair is in a pony tail.

Blurb 1/365:

A short script I thought of in my head today:

Person 1: Hey, you know Shirley?

Person 2: Shirley? You mean from Orchard Supply Hardware?

Person 1: Naw naw naw. Shirley. Who lives at the end of the block.“

*silence*

Person 1: The asian Shirley with the eczema who broke that lady’s nose?

Person 2: OH! Yeah yeah yeah. That Shirley. Yeah, I know her.

Person 1: Yeah. Well she said that she wanted to buy 2 boxes of Thin Mints and 3 boxes of Tagalongs from Sandy.

Person 2: Ok.

Daily Doodle: LEGOin’

Song of the Day: Thank you (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin) by Sly and the Family Stone

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Ptrc2cWRxU

Musical Pipe Dream: I’m plucking the bass and casually two-stepping.

Blurb 1/365: I was thinking about how more current rap music includes lyrics about spending money and having a lot of money. Going back to Rapper’s Delight, the lyrics say, “Hear me talkin’ ‘bout checkbooks, credit cards, more money than a sucker could ever spend. But I wouldn’t give a sucker or a bum from the Rucker, not a dime till I made it again.” On a tangent from that note, I made one of my Animal Crossing neighbors say, “Hotel, motel!” as a greeting.

Daily Doodle: Cats

Song of the Day: The Sound of Silence by Simon & Garfunkel

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zLfCnGVeL4

Musical Pipe Dream: I’m sitting on a wooden chair that has a back shaped like a pretzel and a round seat. I’m playing the acoustic guitar.

Blurb 1/365: Well, thirteen dailies left and then I’ll have completed 365. It’s pretty hard to believe and I’m not ashamed to say that it’s one of the most important things I’ve done. It’s something I’ve done independently and when I’m done I’ll consider it one of my first achievements.

My senses are more sensitive to important things and dull to stupid things. Push out the jive, bring in the love.

Daily Doodle: All Is Good In the Animal Crossing Hood

Song of the Day: Summer Wine by Nancy Sinatra and Lee Hazelwood

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ib_eW9VSUwM

Musical Pipe Dream: I’m sitting at a booth in a restaurant with red upholstery. The backs of the bench seats go as high as the back of my head. There is a free bowl of boiled peanuts in the center of the table. Close by there is a small television screen and karaoke machine playing a FITTO laser disc with Summer Wine playing and my parents are singing a duet.

Did I write this one already or have I just thought about it a lot?

Blurb 1/365: Sometimes the sound of silence is so loud and it’s beautiful.

Daily Doodle: Post Festivale

Song of the Day: Something by The Beatles

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IrW7dlDHH28

Musical Pipe Dream: It’s 2AM and I’m on the lobby floor of a hotel during a convention. There are populated tables set up to play table top games. In the far back corner, I’m playing the drums in a Rock Band competition.

Blurb 1/365: Being profane and speaking freely relaxes me, but for the future, I’ll remember not to do this while dining at a Panera Bread.
