Musical Pipe Dream: I’ve got a microphone gripped right at the base of the diaphragm and it’s covering up the view of my mouth as I attempt to replicate The Human Jock Box.

Blurb 1/365: There’s always popcorn in every office break room. In every office break room, there’s been a microwave fire started by a bag of popcorn.

Daily Doodle: Allow the Dough to Rest

Song of the Day: Give It to Me Baby by Rick James

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1dNIQVYGXbM

Musical Pipe Dream: I’m on an extremely crowded bus and holding on to one of the metal poles. This song comes on over the FM radio with moderate reception. All of us are bouncing along with the bumps in the road when my wedding ring starts clanging on the metal pole to the beat. Somebody from the middle of the bus starts singing along. Other people start chiming in until most of us are singing along or at least smiling and grooving. I arrive at my stop and off-board the bus while the song is still playing. The bus slowly departs with people still partying to the music.

Blurb 1/365: “How the hell did she have all these puppies?” – Investigator from Animal Precinct (She had 16 in the basement of an abandoned house. They all lived. The mom was adopted and I can only assume those adorable puppies were all snatched up, too.)

I was looking up this show and it looks like it aired in 2001 … that was 12 years ago … (whoa).

Song of the Day: Woman by John Lennon

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f-x1FsvOAz4

Musical Pipe Dream: I’m singing at a wedding with a drummer and a xylophonist. We each have microphones and we all sing at the time for harmony. I’m wearing a skinny suit with ruffles on the shirt and I’m dancing by moving my arms and hips in a shoveling motion.

Blurb 1/365: I fell on the stairs at BART today. It was one of those slow-motion falls forward on the stairs. A little boy asked with genuine concern, “Are you ok?” Aww … (I’m ok.)

Song of the Day: Fish Paste by Die Antwoord

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sBYd1MuFMgk

Musical Pipe Dream: I’m on the middle of my poorly lit living room. I have some sort of wrap or bandana over my nose and mouth and am wearing an oversized hoodie and big pants. My dancing is endangering all of the surrounding knick knacks and the bass is bothering my neighbors. This pipe dream just might become a reality!

Blurb 1/365: It’s good to make a fool of myself sometimes. It’s training to help me do what I’ve been wanting to do all my life which is to not give a shit.

Song of the Day: Fraggle Rock Theme by Philip Balsam and Dennis Lee performed by the Fraggle Rock cast

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NT1tZmGvFfY

Musical Pipe Dream: I’m on a Muppets reunion set and I’m playing the drums. I’m surrounded by various Muppets and puppeteers. When the song breaks, I raise my arms with sticks in-hand to click twice in unison with everybody’s clapping.

Blurb 1/365: “Dance your cares away. Worry’s for another day.”

Musical Pipe Dream: I’m on the piano surrounded by other musicians and equipment. I’m crouched over the bass part of the piano and I’m wearing a tweed sports coat.

Blurb 1/365: I ate a baked potato from Wendy’s and need to go to sleep early tonight.

Song of the Day: Spill the Wine by Eric Burdon and War

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3i0DMbCKnAg

Musical Pipe Dream: I’m with a band in a corner of a crowded room. I start off sitting down with my legs crossed singing stories into the microphone. I work my way to standing up and when the band jams my arms flail forwards and upwards.

Blurb 1/365: My family and I are very protective over each other. We know nothing but respect for one another, so whenever anybody shows anything differently to one of us, we come at them like a pack of dogs. Not meaning to be scary, it’s just the sentiment that comes naturally to us. This is comforting to me.
